DailyLiv; Chowder and Lobster Rolls

Today marks two days before I leave to fly to Miami and begin another Royal Caribbean contract. The next two days will be filled with running around doing last minute appointments, packing my luggage, and trying to spend last minute moments with my familyIMG_1734 and friends! I am beginning to feel the stress of leaving flood through my body every now and then… But I know this is normal and eventually everything will settle down and will be fine. So I’m not too worried!

Today was my last Osteopath appointment before my training in Miami. I booked an osteopath appointment to look after my body and make sure everything is aligned like it is supposed to be! I will make a completely separate post about Osteopaths and my experience with them! As we could be here all day if I start talking about it now!

I always LOVE going to the Osteopath!

My Osteopath is around an 1 hour and 15 minutes away from my home town; making it almost like a mini road trip! It is a tradition my father will drive with me to the Osteopath, as sometimes there is pain after an appointment. The car ride is filled with long talks and yummy food! We normally go to basic lunch places like McDonalds, Tim Hortons, etc… But today we went somewhere brand new!

Kiwi Cafe!

Located in Chester, Nova Scotia, Kiwi Cafe was a perfect stop for lunch. With their vibrant colours and extremely friendly service, you just can’t help but enjoy your time in this cafe. Kiwi Cafe holds a full menu including all day breakfast, sandwiches, panini’s, delicious chowder, and an added kiwi with every plate as their signature fruit. Ordering my meal including the Lobster and Haddock Chowder, Lobster Roll, and some Lemon Ginger Tea, was a very large struggle because the menu made it very difficult for me to pick what I was going to eat! And when I say this.. I do not mean this in a bad way at all! I simply mean there were so many different options! Options that all sounded delicious!

SO I got the Lobster and Haddock Chowder, Lobster Roll, and some Lemon Ginger Tea, but there was no stopping after that! Then my father and I, decided to get homemade Peanut Buttercookies (2 of them..), one Chocolate chip cookie, one “Lovely Lemon Tarte”, and a Brownie! So much dessert! And these were not one bit of a disappointment either! Perfectly made.. as you would expect of course!

Ending my day out, with some time at Kiwi Cafe was so delicious and so much fun. This is a restaurant/cafe I would definitely return to and recommend to anyone traveling or living in Chester, Nova Scotia!
